Welcome to Gen-Chem.org!

If you’re reading this, you’re most likely a freshman taking general chemistry wondering 1) why it’s so difficult 2) why you aren’t doing as well as you’d like 3) what you need to do to get a good grade.

You might think that because I have my own chemistry website that I breezed through Gen-Chem with ease. In reality, I was wondering those exact 3 things during my first semester at Boston University. As a pre-med student, I knew I had to figure it out sooner or later if I wanted to go on to medical school…

After an entire semester in my dorm’s study room, I “cracked the code” for doing well in chemistry. Since then, I’ve dedicated countless hours to helping students do the same.

After working as a teaching assistant at BU for the next 2 years, I started my own tutoring services that have now helped 1,000+ freshman Gen-Chem students!

Everyone at gen-chem.org is hand-picked by me and is 100% dedicated to helping you get the grade we know you can achieve!
